•    So, What’s The Take on Diesel Supply Release, Today’s Announcement?

Let’s Add Some Context, Shall We…
From The Distilled Perspective of Patrick T Bulger, Capital Management & Analytics

•    ðŸ“Œ Note: We seem to be swimming in, “Out of Context” reports about key data points that can impact your portfolio.

•    The Supply Issue:
Chevron CEO, Mike Wirth,
Warned that global oil and fuel buffers have been "drained," leaving the energy system vulnerable to disruptions with diesel relief unlikely until 2027.

•    My Take:
Release of Storage Supply, Is not Production Solution.

It’s like feeling relieved that you’ve eaten your last bit of food & now face starvation as you have none left.

There's near to very little ability to "Release" more energy reserves,

IEA, Oil release & Diesel release, 20m bbl of diesel looks like a distractive headline to imply it's OK...

That's about 17 to 18 hours of global usage...
Does that sound like an "All is well" solution to you?

I don't see a day's diesel news being OK or bridging a gap to a quality solution

•    The Facts after a bit of digging:
Pure Gasoil/Diesel Share: Averages roughly 27.5 to 28.5 million barrels per day in global usage, making it the largest single refined product category by volume (surpassing motor gasoline, which runs ~26 million bpd).
