when in fact it would seem to simply imply volatility in a risk-on direction, 
while underlying data is viewed as eroding in opposition. 
Reversals Happen and a different approach may be in order.

Sounds like, "up on negative divergence".

Yet the Herd ignores data... 
tunes into reports of those who simply talk their own incentive or motive...Then repeat.
