A Hormuz Update

Bluster Likely to Continue - Ships Passings, Few - Supply Chains Pressured

From The Distilled Perspective of Patrick T Bulger, Capital Management & Analytics

•    Current View:

Escalation of conflict has returned.
Ship passings (including dark passing) have reverted to under 25 daily count,
which is about a quarter of pre-conflict.

The supply chain disruptions have now moved into the Red Sea.
The Strait of Bab Al-Mandeb is now an issue.

•    Important to note:

All the hype of MOU,
All the hype of “Peace Deal”,
Bluster has likely not ended,

•    Conclusion:

Supply chain shortages, appear as, not solved.

Energy and other goods under stress, despite demand issues and pipelines.
Global reserves appear as depleted.
Infrastructure damage is viewed as an issue.

Potential for supply pressures and volatility exist.

•    Final Wrap:

Distilled data is for the high level thinkers & delegators.
Narratives, stories & bluster are built for The Herd.
